Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

IUPUI is honored to be the host sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The Race for the Cure is an annual run / walk that attracts more than 40,000 people to the IUPUI campus to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. It is also to celebrate and remember those that are affected by breast cancer.

IUPUI is not only the host sponsor, but also has one of the largest teams in the race. In 2010 Team Jaguars consisted of more than 1,000 staff, students and faculty.

Team Jaguars raised well over $20,000 in 2009, in addition to race fees.
