Day of Caring

IUPUI's United Way Day of Caring is an annual campus tradition where we show that while we can make an impact all year round with our skills, we can also come together as a group and make an impact in sheer numbers. During the Day of Caring, teams of IUPUI students, faculty, staff and guests volunteer for a specific program or two in the community. In 2009, more than 400 participants gave their time at numerous projects around town with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. These projects included painting murals, gardening and aiding in a large clean up.

This is an incredible opportunity for IUPUI staff and students to come out in large numbers and make an impact in our community.

* Note: All IUPUI employees must receive permission from their supervisor to participate if the volunteer opportunity is during normal work hours

2010 Projects will be coming soon. If you have any questions please contact Maggie McGaughey at mmcfarli@iupui.edu
