Day of Caring
IUPUI's United Way Day of Caring is an annual campus tradition in which IUPUI shows that while we can make an impact all year round with our skills, we can also come together as a group and make an impact in sheer numbers. During the Day of Caring, teams of IUPUI students, faculty, staff and guests volunteer for specific programs in the community. These projects include painting murals, gardening, renovating homes and buildings, and aiding in a large citywide clean up.
This is an incredible opportunity for IUPUI staff and students to come out in large numbers and make an impact in our community.
The 2015 Day of Caring will be Friday, October 2, 2015.
* Note: All IUPUI employees must receive permission from their supervisor to participate if the volunteer opportunity is during normal work hours.
Projects will be coming soon. If you have any questions please contact Community Service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Annually, over 400 IUPUI students, faculty and staff give their time at projects across Indianapolis.
